This song was made in about 3 hours by me and my best friend using 303s, 909s and an omnichord. The lyrics involve contrast between friends and self and feeling out of sync from your effervescent friends. It will be a part of a larger release titled "All Smiles". This will be a mixtape as opposed to an album or EP and will coincide with a special limited run of merch.

I wanted this song to feel a sense of reflection, nostalgia, and show a desire for connection or recognition. But truly this song lays the groundwork for the rest of the mixtape from the very first line, "I like my friends effervescent".
